Bob Celeste, Former GS1 US Senior Director, Launches RC Partners

New company formed to help clients improve performance and comply with complex regulations


Newtown, PA — October 2014  Bob Celeste, former Senior Director, Healthcare with GS1 US and previously, EPCglobal, has announced the opening of RC Partners, Inc. By focusing on a mission-based approach, a clear understanding of industry operations and technology, RC Partners has been created to help global clients improve performance and comply with complex regulations.

“This new venture is something I’ve been considering for quite some time,” adds Celeste. “I’ve brought together a team of trusted and well-respected partners in the healthcare consulting industry who are ready to face our clients’ challenges head on. With our combined history and experience, I’m confident we can bring something new to the table.”

According to Celeste, RC Partners seeks to interpret and clarify healthcare industry trends including legislative and regulatory changes. “By using a combination of user-friendly simulation and our patent-pending VirtualPilotTM service, our overall goal is to help clients obtain organizational buy-in and successfully execute their strategies.”

Initially, the business will focus on the Healthcare Pharmacy Supply Chain and the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), as well as programs for understanding the Unique Device Identification (UDI) system recently implemented by the FDA. Additionally, RC Partners will provide consulting services, simulation modeling, speaker engagements and educational modules in the areas of DSCSA and UDI.

Celeste has over 30 years of experience in the chemical, financial, pharmaceutical, medical device and retail industries with a focus on business process re-engineering information management, standards development and usage. In this capacity, he provided numerous presentations and talks on the subjects of drug traceability, in particular on the 2013 Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA, Title II of the DQSA) and product Unique Device Identification regulation (UDI).


Bob continues to speak on a broad range of topics concerning Pharmaceutical, Medical Device supply chain issues as well as healthcare provider, brand protection and security.
