Good Morning LinkedIn family!
I hope this note finds you well and as 2015 closes you are able to find some time to spend time with family and friends, rest a bit and reflect back on your year before 2016 hits.
For us at RC Partners, it’s been an interesting year of growth and change. Starting as a one-man-band, we’ve grown to a team of seven and a much larger team of advisors, partners and friends. We were able to develop a strong suite of products and services ranging from educational to explorational based on a patent-pending process, share our expertise with clients in the fields of drug and medical device supply chains as well as provide expert witnesses in patent cases. This past September we partnered with USDM and the Clarion Group and were awarded the contract from the FDA to develop and manage their pilot program as defined in the 2013 Drug Supply Chain Security Act. This October, we exhibited our first VirtualShowcase developed through collaboration with nine of our partnering companies at the 2015 HDMA Traceability Summit. It was a great showing at a terrific event and benefitted the attendees, HDMA and our partners.
That experience and our strong desire to work across industry(s) led is to establish the Center for Supply Chain Studies (www.C4SCS.org) in November. The Center is a nonprofit company that will work with groups of industry stakeholders, exploring a number of industry-wide topics to produce Reference Models, White Papers and Educational Modules. The Center will also cooperate and work with other centers or supply chain excellence and promote their work.
The Center is established around a “Library” concept. Registered Users (no fees) are issued an electronic Library Card and are free to use the material on the site for their own purposes, presentations and self-study. We’re establishing different sections of the Library based on industry and whether the study or material was developed collaboratively or by a particular company or healthcare provider. So, if you have such material and would like to place it or a link to it in the Library, please contact our Manager of Library Services, Allison Riley at ariley@C4SCS.org.
We are excited to see the positive reaction to the Center and are dedicating December and January to developing content. Meanwhile, RC Partners will continue to support the needs of individual companies and healthcare providers through individual Education or Exploration.
We’re also proud to announce that in November, we were nominated for two Enterprise Awards (Life Sciences Startup and Technology Startup) presented by Greater Philadelphia Alliance for Capital and Technologies (PACT) in partnership with KPMG. Finalist are chosen in January and the awards will be presented in May, so, we continue to cross our fingers!J Being nominated was very exciting for the whole team! Personally, I’m thrilled that the work of the team has been recognized. They’ve gone above and beyond in building these companies, products and services and our advisors, partners and clients have been tremendous in their willingness to support something new.
So, thank you for your continued support and have a safe and happy holiday season and New Year! We look forward to working with you in 2016!
